Summary
The Sr. Divisional Director of Marketing, Higher Education will lead all marketing efforts for colleges and universities and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote higher education and attract prospective students. Working alongside the sales team, you will generate new business and maintain strong client relationships at our accounts.
Responsibilities
- Devise comprehensive marketing plans to attract prospective students and retain current ones through a mix of digital, print, and experiential campaigns.
- Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team of content creators, digital marketers, and brand specialists to develop engaging, high-quality content across various platforms.
- Work closely with the sales team to support new business development efforts and foster strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
- Stay up to date on trends and insights in the higher education sector to inform marketing strategies and effectively target the evolving needs of students.
- Manage the marketing budget and measure the performance and return on investment of various campaigns to optimize resource allocation and ensure maximum impact.
- Create engaging and compelling digital content, such as website content, social media posts, and email campaigns, to effectively reach and engage the target audience.
- Regularly visit college campuses and attend industry events to engage with current and prospective students, understand their needs, and promote the institution's offerings.
Qualifications
- 4 years of higher education sector experience with a deep understanding of higher education landscape.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the higher education sector.
- Proven ability to create high-quality digital content, including social media posts, videos, and web content.
- Demonstrated track record of providing excellent sales support and building strong client relationships.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% to college campuses to connect with students.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, with excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with various stakeholders.
