Brown & Brown is seeking a Human Resources Audit Associate to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY.
As a member of the Internal Operations Review Team, the Human Resources Audit Associate is responsible for assisting in reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations regarding all compensation, benefits, and human resources activities throughout all the Brown & Brown offices.
How You Will Contribute:
Assist in reviewing all human resource activities to include employment, compensation, benefits, and training and development for all existing offices to ensure compliance with Brown & Brown guidelines as well as applicable Federal and State laws.
Assist Audit Analysts with reporting and other audit related tasks.
Help to develop, maintain, and improve the review Task Workbook to ensure it is a valid measuring tool and resource for the review process.
Assist in conducting FLSA evaluations of job positions as needed.
Assist with documentation of job descriptions and performance evaluation systems for all existing offices.
Help with the development and presentation of Lunch and Learns to offices.
Provide advice, assistance and follow-up for offices in regard to compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal operating divisions.
Licenses and Certifications:
Successful completion of PHR and/or SHRM-CP exam (Preferred)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field or 1-2 years Human Resources experience.
Knowledge of employment law and other government (state and federal) compliance regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
The ability to research and analyze various types of Human Resource data.
Must have the ability interpret and translate procedures, regulations and/or government law.
Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
3+ years of Human Resources experience (Preferred)
Pay Range
22.00 - 28.00 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
