About this role

Join our HVAC Global Operations Aftermarket team as a Project Manager supporting our Aftermarket Materials Planning Organization.

The Project Manager reports to the Associate Director, Materials, and is directly responsible for materials analytics reviewed at the most senior levels of the organization. The Project Manager must have deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise to lead the supply and demand planning process, and is responsible for making significant improvements of processes, systems, and products to enhance the performance of the work area and team. Works with internal and external team leaders to develop financial forecasts.

The Project Manager will work on-site in Syracuse.

Key Responsibilities

Own the sales and operations execution process for the Aftermarket business, collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Sourcing, SIOP, and Material Planning
Establish/develop standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP; optimize the utilization of business resources; meet customer expectations for delivery
Support metrics development for visibility of business performance
Collaborate with product development, sales, and sourcing leaders to develop demand forecasts
Lead the planning of capacity/fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations
Create/develop the monthly production volume planning, i.e., use business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and defined capacity parameters
Evaluate/lead the development of new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability
Spearhead the tracking of appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement
Develop processes/plans to improve supply capabilities
Guide to establish clear/robust metrics to measure progress through the SIOP process improvements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in continuous improvement projects in material planning or supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s in supply chain, business management or engineering
Analytical
Business Acumen
Communication and presentation skills
Cross-functional influence and leadership

Pay Range:

$90,263 - $157,959 Annually
