About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Graphic Designer with a strong background in HVAC systems, engineering drawings, and proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, visually compelling graphics for use in product documentation, marketing materials, and customer communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and refine technical illustrations, schematics, and diagrams for HVAC products and systems.
Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of visual content.
Design layouts for manuals and presentations, using InDesign and Illustrator and PowerPoint.
Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.
Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files to develop customer-facing graphics.
Support marketing campaigns with technical visuals that enhance product understanding.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 2 years’ experience in graphic design

Preferred Qualifications:

HVAC industry experience
Experience with commercial packaged units is also preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Have a personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect culminating in a strong work ethic

Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Pay Range:

$35,500.00-$61,750.00
