We are seeking a hands-on Director of IT to oversee and support all aspects of our organization’s technology needs. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and help desk operations while ensuring that systems run smoothly and securely. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded IT professional with strong leadership skills and broad technical knowledge, someone who can guide strategy while also being directly involved in daily support and operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, hardware, software, and network systems.
Take ownership of the organization’s IT operations, from strategic oversight to day-to-day troubleshooting and support.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and cloud services.
Ensure timely and effective help desk support for employees across the organization.
Manage and support the organization’s software, including everyday office tools and business applications.
Implement and monitor security policies to protect company systems and data.
Manage vendor relationships, including purchasing hardware, software licenses, and negotiating service contracts.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, including asset inventory, procedures, and support materials.
Assist in developing the IT budget and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
Stay informed on new technologies and recommend improvements that support organizational goals.
