As a division of Cornell Dining, Cornell Catering is the preferred catering service for Cornell University events and is uniquely qualified to serve the entire Cornell community and beyond. We pride ourselves on offering the finest quality cuisine and exceptional service.
Cornell Catering is currently hiring servers and bartenders to fill immediate needs! We are looking for highly motivated, outgoing, polite, engaged, service-minded individuals who care about where they work and the reputation it develops.
In this role you may have an opportunity to:
All positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or less), non-benefits eligible.
Training is offered as well as possibility for advancement within our organization. Hours vary anywhere from 5-19 per week, depending on events. Actual hours will vary depending on business needs and may include working other events depending on need and candidate availability, includes various hours and weekend work.

Required Qualifications include:
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to follow direction and adhere to quality expectations and standards
Bartenders must be 19 years of age or older.
Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not a must
Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (50+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting and grasping.
Ability to adhere to uniform standard (black slacks, black shoes and a plain, black, collared button-down dress-shirt) and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
A valid drivers license is preferred, but not required.
