The successful candidate will serve as the Collection and Accessioning lead at the Cornell Veterinary Biobank (CVB) at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, providing technical skills and guidance to assist veterinarians and researchers. This position is responsible for coordinating sample collection, processing, data management, and training others on lab procedures.
The CVB is an ISO 20387 accredited resource providing biological material and associated data to the research community worldwide and is a part of the Dog Aging Project. The Dog Aging Project is an innovative initiative that brings together a collaborative, interdisciplinary, nationwide team of researchers to carry out the most ambitious canine science health study in the world to improve our understanding of the aging process in both dogs and humans.

Employees of the Biobank must adhere to the CVB’s Quality Assurance system, confidentiality statement, standard operating procedures, and organizational policies. Employees may be required to work outside of normal business hours.
