Cornell's Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) has a long and distinguished history of successfully educating leaders for a wide variety of industries and academia. Graduates have major impacts on the chemical, consumer, pharmaceutical, petroleum, electronic, biotechnology, and biomedical industries.
Enrollment representatives within Cornell’s colleges, schools, and units regularly collaborate and partner with the Enrollment Division to accomplish the University’s enrollment goals.
What You Will Do

The M.Eng Program Coordinator will partner with the Director of the M.Eng program and the Director of Administration to create and implement strategic initiatives as programs evolve, improve, and grow. This includes taking the leadership role in the development of, recruitment, admission, planning activities, and data management for prospective and current students. In addition, this person will be critical to the development and approval of a distance learning option for M.Eng students in alignment with Cornell University strategic enrollment goals. The person in this position provides expertise, guidance, and judgment in decision-making to support the operations of the M.Eng program. They will interact with faculty, prospective and current students, staff, corporate partners and alumni as appropriate to provide internal and external communications about the programs and opportunities to engage with our students.
What We Need
Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination experience in higher education working in a student services area, development or similar required.
Demonstrated experience in the delivery of excellent customer service to diverse constituencies.
What We Prefer
Master’s degree and 5 or more years’ experience preferred. Familiarity working with Excel and MS Office Suite
Experience in a student services related role in an educational environment.
Industry experience a plus.

The M.Eng Program Coordinator role will require occasional evening and weekend work dependent on department events or conferences.
