About Global Labor and Work
The Global Labor and Work department examines the relationships among workers, employers, and government policies through interdisciplinary approaches including economics, law, sociology, and more. Faculty teach courses grounded in American society while also exploring global labor issues, using methods from the social sciences, humanities, and legal fields. Topics include globalization, labor law, union movements, international migration, and labor systems across various regions. The department emphasizes comparative analysis and includes faculty experts on regions around the world, such as Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to provide high-level administrative support to the teaching and research faculty, visiting lecturers, and graduate students in the Global Labor and Work Department. The position requires handling diverse and complex administrative tasks.

This is a full-time (39 hours/week) contract position that is based in Ithaca, NY with a hybrid work arrangement. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The final schedule will be established in collaboration with the supervisor.
