Senior Cost Accounting Analyst
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000, based on experience.
Are you ready to dive into a dynamic manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth? We're seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst to join an exciting team east of Syracuse, NY. This role is primarily onsite and offers a strong career advancement path, with involvement in both operations and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the site controller and operations teams on financial analysis, reporting, and training.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare weekly cash forecasts.
- Lead accounts receivable meetings and manage collections.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
- Support the annual external audit and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-4 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP preferred).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
