Electrical Engineer – Utility (80-120K)
Due to expansion and growth, we are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer to join a premier utility provider in the Utica/Rome NY area.

This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit, technically skilled team delivering underground utility services to a wide array of tenants, from advanced manufacturers to technology startups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and support underground electric distribution systems for new and existing commercial clients.
- Support senior engineers in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform field inspections, data collection, and system evaluations.
- Assist with system reliability studies and electrical maintenance strategies.
- Assist with troubleshooting and technical support for field operations.
- Collaborate with operations and field teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable utility standards.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
- 1–5+ years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops welcome).
- Understanding of power distribution systems, transformers, conduit layouts, etc.
- Project coordination or design–build project exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or GIS tools.
