Are you a driven developer ready to take ownership of cutting-edge AI and cloud-based tools that directly improve healthcare logistics? Our client, a fast-growing pharmaceutical distribution and 3PL provider, is expanding its in-house engineering team and looking for a technically versatile Application Developer to help lead that charge.

This is not a “maintenance-mode” role. This is an opportunity to design, build, and scale new web-based applications, AI-driven tools, and backend data systems that will impact both internal operations and external customers across the healthcare supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the development of internal software tools and customer-facing portals hosted in AWS.
Designing and implementing cloud-first solutions using Python, SQL, and API integrations.
Applying AI and data mining techniques to real-world problems – streamlining processes, automating decisions, and enhancing visibility across the supply chain.
Collaborating with stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture – where IT isn’t just support, it’s a strategic driver.
Working side-by-side with technical leadership and executive decision-makers to bring complex ideas to life.
Participating in key initiatives including ERP integration, cloud scaling, and the construction of a new data warehouse.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
Practical working knowledge of AWS (especially EC2 and infrastructure management).
Solid SQL skills – including data modeling, scripting, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools (even if not production-level expertise).
A builder’s mindset – able to work independently, problem-solve, and take the lead on new technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams and customers.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience integrating cloud applications via REST APIs.
Background in deploying machine learning models or data-driven applications.
Familiarity with tools like Docker, Power BI, or front-end frameworks.
Knowledge of ERP systems or healthcare distribution workflows.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for this position.
