Our client, a well-established not-for-profit headquartered in Utica, NY, is seeking an Accounting Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting activities within their Business Office. What You'll Do:

Supervise A/P, A/R, and Business Office Assistant staff (8 direct reports)
Ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices, payments, deposits, and recurring billing
Perform cash flow monitoring and work with banks to ensure appropriate liquidity
Handle customer/vendor account resolution, credit applications, and reconciliations
Prepare aging reports, audit support documentation, and monthly G/L account reconciliations
Collaborate with the Controller on month-end closing and budget analysis
Serve as subject matter expert on business office systems, processes, and internal controls

What You Bring:

Associate's degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred)
5+ years of accounting experience (A/P & A/R focus)
5+ years of experience supervising accounting/office staff
Experience supporting audits, cash management, and internal controls
Detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and calm under pressure
