Temporary Electromechanical Technician
East Syracuse, NY
Pay rate: $26 to $29 per hour
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
We are seeking a Temporary Electromechanical Technician to support the production of advanced technology in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the potential to grow into a permanent opportunity as the team continues to expand!
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic and electromechanical components following detailed work instructions
- Build and rework cable harnesses, printed circuit boards, and related assemblies
- Troubleshoot RF and digital failures down to the component level
- Operate test stations and bench equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters
- Support engineering and manufacturing projects through setup, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Prepare clear data summaries for discrepancies and repairs
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology or three or more years of related production or lab experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong computer skills including MS Office; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in an ESD-controlled environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Linux command line
- Background in RF theory or operation
- IPC J-STD-001 solder certification
