The Corporate Finance Associate – FP&A will play a pivotal role in the FP&A team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Finance. This position is integral to enhancing the company's financial reporting capabilities, supporting executive leadership with key performance insights, and contributing to the organization's strategic financial planning.

The annual salary range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $65,000-$95,000. The actual rate of pay offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs

What you'll be doing:

Prepare weekly and monthly internal and external managerial reports.
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial analyses and scenario modeling.
Contribute to high level board presentations and analyses.
Develop and maintain KPI reporting, leveraging Power BI to support senior leadership and operational teams.
Conduct trend analyses and monitor key performance indicators to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with FP&A team members to ensure data integrity and relevance in reporting tools.
Work with Senior Manager of Corporate Finance and business partners on variable compensation plan modeling and administration.
Engage in special finance projects and ad hoc reporting as required.
Document and continuously improve reporting processes, creating SOPs for repeatable, scalable delivery.

What we're looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2–4 years of experience in a finance or accounting position.
Strong understanding of standard financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and how operational metrics impact financial performance).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience building dashboards and KPIs in Power BI.
Proven ability to analyze and communicate financial results clearly and concisely.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in public accounting.
Experience in an IT sales company or similar industry.
Familiarity with Private Equity-owned business environments and associated reporting requirements.
Exposure to budgeting and forecasting software such as Planful.
Understanding of commission structures and compensation modeling.
Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
