Equitable is seeking an influential and dynamic Clinical and Vocational Resource Leader to join our Disability and Absence Claims organization. The Clinical and Vocational Resource Leader is responsible for overseeing and enhancing clinical and vocational resources within the group insurance sector. This role involves leading a team, managing partnerships, and engaging with vendors to optimize services and support for clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent reporting skills, and the ability to cultivate effective partnerships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within the group insurance industry, driving positive outcomes for both clients and the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities
· Leadership:
§ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of clinical and vocational professionals.
§ Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
§ Drive strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
· Reporting Skills:
§ Develop and implement reporting systems to track and analyze clinical and vocational outcomes.
§ Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
§ Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve processes.
· Partnership and Vendor Engagement:
§ Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
§ Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the best value and services.
§ Collaborate with partners to enhance service offerings and client outcomes.
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Business Case Justification: Knowledge of the how's and why's of preparing and justifying business cases and value propositions; ability to justify business expenditures by identifying cost, benefits, ROI, opportunities, and risks.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
