Filtertech is an international producer of liquid filtration and waste disposal equipment for industrial applications including wire drawing, aluminum and steel rolling, machining, grinding, and coolant disposal as well as process and waste water treatment. The firm was established in 1969 as a designer of coolant and liquid filtration systems. Shortly after, Filtertech started fabricating complete systems in its facility located in Manlius, NY, near Syracuse. Filtertech provides complete turnkey filtration and waste treatment systems utilizing its complete line of vacuum, gravity, and pressure filters, centrifuges, magnetic separators, evaporators, and vacuum distillation units. In 1995, Filtertech opened an office in Arizona to better serve Western USA and Mexico. Today, Filtertech has an extensive network of global representatives to assist in evaluating your particular application. Filtertech has been servicing our clients for over 45 years, solving difficult process liquid related filtration problems for multiple industries worldwide. We have now introduced our expertise to the optical industry, utilizing special technology to efficiently address the challenging coolant filtration applications associated with optical lens generation. Product lines include coolant filtration equipment such as flatbed gravity filters, liquid vacuum filters, magnetic separators, pressure filters, and automatic/manual centrifuges. Coolant disposal equipment includes thermal emulsion breakers, vacuum distillation units, oil skimmers, and oil-water separators. Engineered systems involve total system engineering of coolant filtration systems that includes conveyorized tanks, reservoir tanks, piping, pumps, pump bases, heat exchangers, transfer sumps, decantation tanks, oil-water separators, and control panels. The primary markets for which Filtertech provides coolant and solution filtration and waste disposal equipment are ferrous and nonferrous wire drawing, steel, aluminum, and brass rolling mills.
