Fotokite systems allow first responders to quickly and easily gain situational awareness after arriving at emergency scenes: our autonomous one-touch launch/land system makes operation simple and safe; the dual color and thermal camera payload provides situational awareness from the system’s aerial perspective; and actively tethered flight means the system can be flown without a certified pilot, and can be left flying for as long as the situation requires.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for expanding our sales activities by selling and introducing Fotokite products and services to both established and new Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, Public Safety and other relevant customer groups. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling through Distribution partners as well as Direct Sales. This position conducts field demos as well as fulfills requests for orders, quotations, and lead times. Primarily involves initiating, tracking, and following up on leads the organization generates via multiple channels. In addition, this position is responsible for driving demand in an assigned territory for all Fotokite products and services in relevant user groups in conjunction with Distribution Partners, this position will have direct reports in the near future.

Location & Territory

This is a remote position for the South & South-East US (NC, SC, GA, FL, AL) territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develops and executes a regional sales plan that includes outbound prospecting, lead generation and field sales engagement to help meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Proven capacity to quickly grasp and retain comprehensive product knowledge, coupled with a distinct talent for articulating intricate technical concepts surrounding the products.
Increases customer base by identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads or accounts to begin the sales process
Manages and retains relationships with existing clients and Distributors
Captures, maintains, and expands the data in the CRM with opportunities, customers, and additional contacts
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of our products and value proposition
Provides effective product demos for end-user customers--in person and virtually
Attends industry conferences and regional trade shows to develop industry expertise and customer pipelines
Expected travel (up to 50% or more depending on region)
Performs other duties as assigned

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required

Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience is required
Experience in, or with, public safety agencies is a plus.
Highly proficient computer skills including G Suite and Microsoft suite
Prominent organization and presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to negotiate with customers
Experience working at an international company is a plus

Salary & Commissions OTE is $160,000-$220,000
