Job Title: Transportation Maintenance Mechanic/Reefer Technician

Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Summary:
The Transportation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on our fleet of over 160 trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing preventative maintenance and required repairs on G&C-owned diesel equipment such as Yard Trucks, Trailers, and Road Tractors
- Performing minor repairs to G&C Leased equipment when necessary
- Assist the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor with repairing the washing equipment
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience in Reefer Trailer Repair preferred
- Air Brake Certification preferred
- Diesel Engine Certification preferred
- Reefer Experience required
- NYS Driver’s License required
- CDL A or CDL B preferred
- Inspectors' License preferred
- Must have basic mechanical tools
