Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our Environmental team on the east coast. In this role, you will provide air quality consulting services for a broad range of industrial clients throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions of the US. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Managing and serving as technical expert on air quality projects spanning a variety of technical areas within air quality such as: air permitting, air compliance and reporting, auditing, dispersion modeling, etc.
Directly interfacing with clients, including identifying new project opportunities and preparing proposals
Overseeing project teams to complete air permitting projects
Preparing air permit application documentation, including: complex emission calculations, regulatory applicability evaluations, and dispersion modeling analyses
Leading air quality compliance assessments
Providing senior review of permit applications, emission calculations, dispersion modeling, and compliance evaluations
Overseeing project financials and staff execution of project tasks

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field of study
10-15+ years of air quality permitting, compliance and/or air modeling experience;
Consulting experience required
Direct experience preparing technical documentation for air permit applications for Title V, NSR, NNSR, PSD, GHG, Standard Permits, and Permits by Rule
Technical understanding of PSD/NSR, air permitting requirements, and dispersion modeling
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
Ability to foster and maintain client relationships through effective project management and delivery of high-quality work products on time and within budget
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary range: $101,600-$152,400 based on experience
