By utilizing and maintaining the on-line recruitment system, the TS is able to successfully screen applicants. Additionally, the TS will assist the supervisor to successfully build pipelines of talent including recruitment of exempt and non-exempt candidates as well as internal and external applicants to Indium Corporation. The TS is expected to establish and maintain positive relationships with external agencies and recruiting sources, implement best practices around recruitment and retention and will be responsible for training others on those practices regularly, to ensure that Indium Corporation upholds its commitment to hiring a talented and diverse workforce. Through those best practices, the TS will work with each plant to maintain equitable hiring practices. The TS will work with the Human Resource Business Parter (HRBP) to align open positions with position control as necessary. This position requires thorough knowledge of departmental and corporate-wide operations and policies. The TS may exercise some independent judgment in the absence of the supervisor or established procedures and will always use discretion in the dissemination of information.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Works collaboratively with hiring managers in the development of recruitment strategies
• Ensures staffing processes are based on best practices, equitable, and in alignment with current and future workforce needs
• Supports company initiatives through leadership of hiring programs designed to recruit and retain a diverse workforce and responds to ongoing specific and general inquiries regarding employment opportunities
• Promotes and helps to coordinate special employment programs through partners (internship programs, school groups, apprenticeship programs, veterans, etc.)
• Works to resolve any applicant concerns or issues
• Assists the supervisor in setting strategic departmental goals by working collaboratively on initiatives to improve hiring processes and outcomes
• Engages candidate pool through numerous social networking sites such as LinkedIn and assesses the effectiveness of social media options
• Establishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources including governmental agencies, employment placement centers, trade schools, and related organizations while continually looking for new opportunities for networking
• Maintains compliance with pertinent federal and state laws and legislation as applicable to the recruitment/hiring process
• Assists in and coordinates job fairs for special recruitment needs
• Coordinates process flow of personnel information with other human resources staff
• Screen resumes to determine minimum qualifications prior to sending to hiring party
• Manages the hiring process from requisition to payroll enter to ensure all paperwork is adequately completed and new hire has optimal entry into the company
• Trains fellow employees on Indium Corporation recruitment best practices and guidelines
• Acts as a brand and cultural ambassador internally and externally, building and maintaining professional collaborative relationships with external partners
• Builds and maintains database of external vendors
• Responsible for scheduling, tracking and reporting on events and operations
• Develops and maintains detailed procedures respective to the position
• Assists in ensuring personnel files are well maintained
• Attend training as needed or assigned
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of recruitment experience, or associate degree and 3 years of recruitment experience
• PHR, SHRM CP preferred
• ADP experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to perform under pressure with accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services
• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$23.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour
($47,500 - $62,000 annually)
