POSITION SUMMARY
The Le Moyne Way is a whole-department approach to whole-person development that is rooted in the 500 year-old tradition of Catholic Jesuit values.
The Le Moyne Way Program Operations Specialist is responsible for leading the operations of the integrated program called The Le Moyne Way which will play a pivotal role in enhancing the spiritual engagement of Le Moyne students and the surrounding community including the Salt Springs Neighborhood by offering programs such as spiritual readings and reflections, guest speakers, service learning opportunities, retreats, and summer camps for neighborhood youth.
The position will report to the Vice President for Mission Integration. This position will work closely with the Le Moyne Way Community Engagement Specialist to coordinate programs with a variety of offices on campus including: Athletics; Campus Ministry; Social Impact Programs; and Student Development.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
In collaboration with the Le Moyne Way Community Engagement Specialist and colleagues within Campus Ministry, Athletics, Student Development, and Social Impact programs create and assist in the coordination of programs that will engage students, athletes, and neighborhood youth in mental wellness and spirituality.
Assist in the coordination of a variety of programs throughout the year such as producing podcasts, organizing discussion groups and guest speakers, organizing several service learning programs on campus such as “Rise Against Hunger”, and work with Athletics to assist in the planning of a summer camp for the disadvantaged youth in the neighborhood.
Support in the operations needed for increasing social media tools to reach students virtually as well as in-person.
Collaboratively manage the student workers within the program with the Le Moyne Way Community Engagement Specialist
Track participation in the various programs to measure engagement and attendance at Le Moyne Way and Inside the L events.
Administer a survey to participants to see how programming can be improved.
Promotes a culture of connectivity, belonging, and spirituality among students to reduce feelings of isolation and disconnection. Reaching out to commuter students will also be an important goal to ensure they are included.
Establishes priorities for events and programming based on knowledge of Le Moyne’s internal priorities and consolation with Le Moyne Way Community Engagement Specialist
Oversight and management of the program budget

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required and a Master’s Degree is preferred.
1-2 years of previous experience working in the areas of youth programs, athletics, ministry, communications, leadership development, and student programming.
Ability to multi-task and to work with different programs and different leaders throughout campus to identify existing programs that can be leveraged to accomplish the goals of Le Moyne Way.
An entrepreneurial approach to managing this new program and a tolerance for ambiguity but a determined willingness to persevere.
The leadership skills and self-confidence to lead groups of college students in various types of program settings and to be able to “manage up” and laterally to leverage existing programs, offices, and people on campus.
Very strong oral communication skills and the ability to meaningfully engage large and small groups.
Requires work on some nights and weekends when some programs are delivered.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
