Program Director Position Summary:

The Program Director is responsible for the oversight, service delivery quality, and program staff performance for NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH)-funded residential program sites in Madison County, which include a 10-bed community residence, a 24 bed Apartment Treatment Program and a 32 slot scattered site supportive housing program.

Program Director Job Responsibilities:

Supervises assigned staff in the day-to-day implementation of high quality program services; interprets and implements state regulations. Provides oversight of service planning. Ensures that staff receives training and support required to meet performance expectations.

Provides oversight of program case records through regular chart audits; ensures compliance with Restorative Service regulations under NYS Part 595 regulations. Ensures that staff is trained in regulatory compliance.
Provides case management services for program residents as needed.
Maintains quality of program physical plants through regular inspection of program sites; ensures the upkeep of sites through the landlord, agency maintenance staff, and program staff, as needed; ensures compliance with all relevant health and safety codes (including but not limited to fire, safety, OSHA, OMH); maintains OMH and all other program certifications.

Program Supervisor Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in Human Services or related field as determined by OMH regulations and three (3) years of experience. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and reliable access to transportation; includes using personal vehicle to transport others as required.

Salary range: $55,000 to $58,000
