Overview
The Accounting Manager prepares monthly financials statements, assists in cash flow projections, annual budget, tax returns and cost reports. Prepares analysis of monthly variances to budget and action plans to address.
Responsibilities
Job duties specific to this position:
- Completes monthly financial statements with variance analysis to budget and all account reconciliations.
- Adheres to all corporate policies and procedures, and third party agency regulations.
- Applies knowledge of various Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party billing rules.
- Keeps current knowledge of regulations and rate sheets through seminars, in-services, conferences, etc.
- Actively participates as a member of the finance team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting – healthcare preferred.
- Significant computer skills including Access, Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
- Demonstrated analytical and interpretive skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate others.
- Proven success working in a team environment.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
