Responsibilities

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Maintenance Planner who is responsible for daily coordination of work orders for maintenance technicians and contractors to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime and disruptions. This role will also ensure that Maintenance Technicians have necessary Job Plans, materials, utilities, operations support, service orders, tools, permits, pre-approvals and equipment to safely execute work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinate Maintenance/Calibration Technicians and contractors to maximize their utilization in completing maintenance work orders.
Assist with any large-scale facility projects including creation and implementation of job plans and planned maintenance schedules with coordination from Project Engineer.
Operate as a point of contact for maintenance requests related to the Anitibody Drug Conjugate Facility or Bulk Drug Substance Production Facility and partner with Maintenance Supervisors/Manager to allocate resources to meet needs.
Work with Maintenance Scheduler and Planners to meet schedule compliance.
Maintain close communications with all customers, Safety Department, Quality and other Department Supervisors and Coordinators.
Lead assessments, optimization, and implementation of job plan updates.
Troubleshoot equipment as required and support root cause analysis initiatives.
Conduct periodic safety and environmental inspections to ensure compliance with GMP practice and company policies.
Ensure departmental compliance to all FDA, OSHA, environmental and local regulatory requirements.
Review new work orders and service orders for completeness and accuracy.
Function as Gate Keeper for corrective work orders and work request service requests as necessary.
Plan Auto-Generated work orders for successful execution.
Verify work order compliance with change control and CAPA requirements.
Support engineering department as Asset Management Subject Matter Expert, including CMMS administrators.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:

Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent training is preferred.
5+ years in an industrial, operations, or maintenance role.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, etc:

Thorough knowledge of industrial plant equipment in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields.
Working knowledge of FDA, OSHA, GMP regulations, and local code regulations.
Ability to identify adequate spare parts inventory on new or existing equipment.
Trade skills of a Maintenance Technician.
Use of Maximo CMMS for accessing data and reports.

Physical Demands:

This position is located in a medium scale manufacturing facility with unclassified and classified areas requiring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching and repetitive use of arms/hands/wrists/grasping is required. Role also requires infrequent unassisted lifting (not to exceed 50 lbs.).

Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily located in an office space; however, regular exposure to unclassified and classified areas is required. These areas may be in confined spaces, cramped quarters, damp walking surfaces or present elevated heights. The environment includes limited exposure to noise ( > 85 dBA), hazardous chemicals, equipment temperature extremes
