Brief Description of Duties: The Student Success Coach will play a pivotal role in supporting adult learners through their educational journey. This position involves advising students on their academic paths, collaborating with instructors to monitor progress, and connecting students with resources to help them succeed. Key Responsibilities: Student Advising: - Provide personalized academic advising to students, helping them set and achieve their educational goals.
- Assist students in developing academic plans and strategies to successfully complete their programs.
Progress Monitoring: - Collaborate with instructors to track student performance and identify those in need of additional support.
- Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess progress, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
Resource Connection: - Connect students with academic and support resources, including tutoring, financial aid, and career services.
- Facilitate workshops and information sessions on topics, such as time management, study skills, and career planning.
Retention Strategies: - Develop and implement initiatives aimed at increasing student retention and engagement.
- Identify at-risk students and develop intervention strategies to support their success.
Communication and Collaboration: - Maintain open lines of communication with students, faculty, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with community partners to enhance resources and support services available to students.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Academic Advisement Assistant (SL-2 level): - Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, career services, or a related field.
- General experience in academic advising, career coaching, student support services, or related.
Academic Advisor (SL-3 level): - Master's degree in education, counseling, career services, or a related field.
- 2+ years of academic advising, career coaching, student support services, or related.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of college admissions processes and workforce development trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
