Professional Rank and Salary Range: SL-1, $47,000 - 50,000 Duration: Calendar Year (this position works all 12-months) Brief Description of Duties: SUNY Morrisville seeks an ATTAIN Lab Coordinator to support our Syracuse EOC! The ATTAIN Lab Coordinator will provide on-site and remote coordination and facilitation of activities contained in the ATTAIN lab. These include participant intake, needs assessment, software navigation support, student training, workshop facilitation, program development, and community outreach/partnership building. This position will work to achieve the enrollment, usage and outcomes specified in their performance objectives and Program Year Plan (PYP). The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting adult learners from diverse backgrounds achieve academic and career goals. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Student Advisement & Training - Assist students in identifying interests and career/academic goals to develop tailored action plans
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual orientation and training sessions to enrolled participants for ATTAIN services and self-paced resources
Example: Academic Preparation, Career and Technical Education, ESL and Language Learning, Microsoft Certification training resources and any additional online third-party resource(s) - Microsoft Office basics, digital literacy, and job-readiness training in a group or 1:1
- Proctor certification exams through ATTAIN's Certiport Authorized Testing Centers
Enrollment & Account Management - Conduct ATTAIN enrollment process and determine participant Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) eligibility
- Maintain participant records utilizing ATTAIN's Learning Management System and third-party courseware accounts
- Workshop/Program Design & Facilitation
- Develop and implement curriculum for new programs, develop learning activities based on ATTAIN Lab courseware for EOC classes and outside partnerships
- Develop outlines and materials to facilitate a variety of workshops with EOC classes and outside partnerships based on unique needs of the organization or class
Community Engagement & Partnership Building - Assessing potential partnerships based on strategic fit, alignment with organizational goals, and potential impact on the lab's mission and objectives
- Nurture ongoing relationships with partners, collaborators, and referral sources to strengthen engagement and maximize opportunities for collaboration and referrals
Data Tracking and Reporting - Support and track self-paced participant learning performance and outcomes
- Submit monthly status reports and maintain regular communication with UCAWD, Program Coordinator and Site Supervisor
Lab Maintenance - Create and maintain a clean, comfortable, and orderly learning environment in the lab
- Report any technical issues, maintain lab calendar, and work with IT Support to resolve technical issues
Recruitment - Create promotional materials and participate in tabling/community events to increase awareness and enrollment
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications - Associate's Degree
- Experience with computer software applications
- Experience working with underserved/underprepared populations
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in education or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience working with adult populations in educational training, communications, and/or online learning platforms or related discipline.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience working with Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients
- Experience in community outreach
- Microsoft Certifications
- Experience managing enrollment accounts and the intake processes using an online management system.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to promote professional and ethical behavior
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to facilitate workshops
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
