Senior Site Engineer - North Sea Link - East Sleekburn, Blyth
The Operations team are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operational running of North Sea Link (NSL) 24/7/365. As our Senior Site Engineer, you will have a critical role ensuring that the NSL assets (Converter Station, Cable Systems, Substation and associated Operational Technology) maintain the highest level of operational performance.
You'll liaise with other support functions within the Interconnector business to assist in driving forward a collaborative approach to running our assets.
North Sea Link (NSL), a joint venture with Norwegian system operator Statnett. Stretching 720 kilometres under the North Sea, at depths of up to 700 metres, NSL is an interconnector capable of sharing up to 1400 megawatts of electricity – enough to power around 1.4 million UK homes. That’s a job anyone can be proud of.
