We’re looking for a passionate OHL Area Support Craftsperson to join our Overhead Lines Team! You will undertake the role to deliver site routines, statutory ESCQ regulation checks, and defect monitoring of equipment within recognized timescales. Your supplementary duties will include working on plant and equipment to National Grid standards, ensuring optimum efficiency, safety, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas equipment is tested, calibrated and replaced to support our operational teams work, along with managing the certification off equipment, working with 3rd party vendors to ensure we have resilience and plans in place across our team’s plant and equipment inspection schedules. You will work closely with our operational teams to support operational workloads as appropriate.
This role is Peripatetic, and we encourage a hybrid working approach, although we’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
