Pay Range: Compensation for this position is $29.42 - 32.43 plus an additional estimated plus an estimated additional ROA annual compensation of $14,000 - $15,500 based on division performance.

Basic Job Functions:

This position will work directly with the Rolling Mill, Quality lead Tech, Production team, Metallurgist as well as the Quality Supervisor and Sales. This job is in a steel making industrial operation that requires Personal Protective Equipment. This position is scheduled for 4 days on 4 days off 12-hour shifts 6:00AM to 6:00PM however, working unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

The Rolling Mill Quality Technician will be responsible for:

Safe operation of the Rolling Mill Quality testing equipment.
Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the all-lab test equipment.
Working with both the Rolling Mill Supervision and Team leaders to continue looking at improving the process, improving yield and lowering cost.
To communicate non-conforming product and provide feedback on samples to production team so adjustments can be made in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience operating and/or maintaining tensile and lab equipment.
Good math/analytical skills.
