Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounts Payable Administrator. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining the accounts payable system. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Maintain all facets of the accounts payable system
- Secure discounts whenever possible
- Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products)
- Two-year business or related degree, or 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to work overtime
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle EBS
- Experience in a high-volume accounting environment
- Knowledge of Kentucky Sales & Use Tax
- Four-year degree or currently pursuing a four-year degree
