The Oneida Indian Nation operates a variety of businesses to fund its government programs that serve Oneida members. These enterprises include: Turning Stone Resort Casino (including gaming, spa, golf, tennis, restaurants, award-winning accommodations); Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango; 13 Sāvon convenience stores; car care; marinas; Four Directions Productions, a HD cinematography/3D animation and Indian Country Today Media Network (ICTMN), the first ever all-inclusive media network for American Indians. These enterprises and the nation's government programs employ 5,000 people (most of them non-Native), making the Oneida Nation one of the largest employers in the 16 counties of Central New York. Proceeds from the nation's enterprises are funneled into essential services for Oneida members.
