Job Description: The Humanities Department at Onondaga Community College seeks adjunct instructors in Spanish. - Teach Spanish at the College level
- Prepare and present lectures;
- Meet with students as needed to answer questions;
- Respond to student queries (e.g. email or voice mail) as needed, in a reasonably timely manner;
- Write, administer, and grade all student assignments and exams;
- Compute grades and submit them on time
Requirements: - Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- For native speakers of Spanish, Master's degree may be in closely related field such as education, teaching or linguistics.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Spanish preferred for non-native Spanish speaking candidates.
Additional Information: Rate of pay is $1,371 per credit hour. 3-credit hour courses will be paid a total of $4,113.
