We continue to serve the educational and economic development needs of the region and proudly boast more than 40,000 alumni. Job Description: This is a Federal Work Study (FWS) position. The Office of Early College Pathways at Onondaga Community College serves high school students in the Central New York region by providing access to college readiness programming and credit bearing courses in higher education that may not be available in their high school. The Office of Early College Pathways consists of multiple dual enrollment programs that offer high school students the opportunity to experience college and prepare them for life after graduation. Students receive tuition waivers and discounts to work toward earning transferable college credits up to an associate degree in their desired degree program. Federal work study student assistants will help with various programming needs and general office assignments. Responsibilities Include: - Provide front desk support to the Early College Pathways staff, students and visitors to the College.
- Provide information and guidance to students, staff and visitors.
- Track and distribute meal tickets to high school students who qualify for vouchers.
- Organize and maintain order of student's lunch materials and area.
- Administering or assisting with implementing specialized programs
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Must be a Work-Study Eligible Student in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).
