Job Description: BROAD FUNCTION The Coordinator of Workforce and Community Education Programs will organize and execute the enrollment efforts for non-credit workforce programs and community education programs. This position will focus on building and maintaining efficient admission operations while promoting and growing enrollment in non-credit workforce programs and community education programs. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, a student-centered approach, and strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Workforce/Non-Credit Programs - Develop and implement effective enrollment strategies for workforce programs.
- Monitor and analyze enrollment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with the OCC marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns, ensuring all workforce websites are consistently updated with accurate information.
- Act as the main point of contact for workforce program-related enrollment needs across all four OCC schools.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Department to implement targeted recruitment strategies for workforce programs.
- Coordinate and enhance communication between OCC departments to provide students with a smooth and cohesive enrollment experience.
- Partner with the Financial Aid and Student Accounts offices to assist workforce students in securing funding for their chosen programs.
- Provide the Admissions staff with training and accurate information about program offerings, career pathways, and enrollment processes.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of enrollment processes for new workforce programs as they are created.
- Represent the college at workforce development events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of program offerings.
Community Education Programs - Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and delivery of community education programs.
- Develop a comprehensive slate of Community Education programing that is representative of the community needs.
- Function as the primary liaison for students, instructors, college staff, and community members participating in community education programs.
- Monitor and track program participation, attendance, and feedback to ensure consistent quality and effectiveness.
- Maintain program documentation, including schedules, participant records, and compliance reports.
- Promote programs through community outreach, events, and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the college's marketing team.
- Support prospective program participants through the registration process, including registration, payment, and onboarding.
- Create and implement clear and consistent communication to registrants regarding community education programs.
- Prepare regular reports on enrollment trends, program outcomes, and student feedback.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate's degree from an accredited college, university of foreign equivalency.
- 2 years of professional experience in an admissions, recruitment, workforce development, customer service, event planning, or enrollment services role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university of foreign equivalency.
- Experience working with workforce development programs.
- Familiarity with higher education enrollment systems and processes.
- Customer service experience.
- Working knowledge and experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system (i.e., Slate).
- Experience working within diverse populations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and another language.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of enrollment management practices and recruitment strategies.

Additional Information: - Salary range is: $44,000-50,000, commensurate with credentials and relevant experience.
