Job Description: The Applied Engineering Technology Department at Onondaga Community College seeks Automotive Technology adjunct instructors for daytime and evening teaching assignments, beginning with the spring 2025 semester and beyond. Courses are typically offered Monday - Thursday, from 8:00am to 10:00pm, with possible Friday and/or Saturday daytime offerings if enrollment demand warrants. Need varies by semester but we envision openings for instructors qualified to teach the following courses: - ATC 103 Automotive Fundamentals

Requirements: - Master's degree in Automotive Technology (or a closely-related field), with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology (or closely-related field) with industry-recognized certifications, with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and industry-recognized certifications, with at least 10 years of industry-related experience.
- Automotive industry experience, industry-recognized training, and industry-recognized certifications, with at least 20 years of industry-related experience.

Additional Information: - Adjunct rate of pay for the 24/25 academic year is $1,440/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.
