Job Description: Job Description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Notary Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and informative instruction to individuals seeking to become certified notaries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of notarial laws, procedures, and ethical guidelines, as well as a passion for teaching and helping students succeed in their certification. Responsibilities: - Conduct in-person notary training sessions for individuals preparing for their notary exam.
- Prepare course materials, including presentations, handouts, and practice tests.
- Explain the duties, responsibilities, and legal requirements of notaries to students.
- Ensure that students understand key topics such as notarization of documents, legal terminology, and state-specific regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout the training process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Evaluate student progress and administer practice exams or quizzes.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback.
- Stay current with updates to notary laws and regulations.
Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Certified Notary Public in New York State.
- Previous experience as a notary or notary instructor.
- Strong knowledge of notary laws, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience with online teaching platforms and tools (for remote instructors).
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Teaching or public speaking experience.
- Ability to create engaging and effective instructional materials.
- Familiarity with state-specific notary requirements and protocols.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
