Job Description: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas to teach introductory and intermediate courses for the Fall 2025 semester: Sociology. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's degree in Sociology or related field from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - College teaching experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English. English and other languages will be considered.
Additional Information: - Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.
- Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
