Job Description:

Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing part-time temporary/hourly positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program. Help us grow the Nursing Leaders of tomorrow!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Procedure evaluator
  • Evaluate students in skills testing.
  • Review teaching points, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Assists with equipment and lab maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with the lab coordinator to learn and understand all curriculum policies and rules for testing in the lab.


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An earned master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency;
  • Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification.
  • Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field.
  • Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology.
  • Advanced computer skills are also required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.


Additional Information:

This is a part-time hourly position. Rate of pay is $ 63.54/hour. There are no additional benefits associated with this position.
