Job Description:
Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing part-time temporary/hourly positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program. Help us grow the Nursing Leaders of tomorrow! MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Procedure evaluator
- Evaluate students in skills testing.
- Review teaching points, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Assists with equipment and lab maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with the lab coordinator to learn and understand all curriculum policies and rules for testing in the lab.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - An earned master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency;
- Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification.
- Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field.
- Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology.
- Advanced computer skills are also required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
Additional Information:
