The Medical Imaging Technologist Assistant works as a fundamental part of the Medical Imaging healthcare team working under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiologic Technologist, reporting to the Medical Imaging Manager.
The Medical Imaging Technologist Assistant is responsible for supporting licensed Radiologic Technologists and/or other certified Radiology staff (i.e. Radiologist, provider, nurse, etc.) during routine procedures such as lifting, transporting, and directing patients in and out of the Radiology Department. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment in which quality patient care is delivered. Establishes and maintains positive and professional interpersonal communication with patients and department staff. Maintains patient confidentiality.
High School Diploma or other combination of training and experience sufficient to meet reading, writing and verbal communication requirements. No prior experience is required.
Pay Range: $16.17-$17/hour
Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
