Position Description:
· Services, repairs, installs, and inspects (POS) products and peripherals by physical inspection and disassembly, and as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications to a fully functioning state of operation.
· Applies skills and job knowledge in areas of specialization; may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of areas of specialization.
· Runs diagnostic programs, troubleshooting internal component failures.
· Runs diagnostics on circuit boards, soldering of components at the microscopic level, testing board functions and light assembly.
· Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
· Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment for all electronic products serviced, repaired, installed, and inspected.
· Performs safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.
· Reports potentially dangerous electrical equipment to supervisor and takes steps to resolve the issue.
· Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components.
· Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment.
· Ensures local, state, and national electrical codes are followed and proper materials are used throughout electrical systems.

What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
· Associate degree in an Electronics/Computer-Centric field.
· Minimum of one (1) year related experience
Additional skills:
· Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Detail-oriented and organized.
· Excellent problem-solving ability.
· Ability to follow highly complex directions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
· Component / Board level troubleshooting, diagnostics, soldering and repair
· Troubleshoot failures, being able to read and understand process instructions
· Staging / Loading Computer-based equipment for POS customers
