Parsons is looking for a talented Senior TDL Manager (computer software / hardware project manager) to join our team to make a key contribution to U.S. Army TENCAP E3I-T mission. In this role you will get to lead multiple cross-functional agile development teams to develop a systems engineering approach to RDT&E, Operations, Fielding, test events, technical documentation, deliverables, and Sustainment support.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for developing Technical Direction Plans (TDP) in response to Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) issued by the customer for specific technology or capability development
- Leads TDL execution activities and acts as on-site interface to senior government personnel
- Provide a detailed execution plan with cost estimate, schedule, and risk response plan, from project inception through project closeout
- Responsible for the scheduling, coordinating, and hosting the TDL Kick‐Off Meetings and other management meetings and reviews
- Keep stakeholders informed regarding projects ranging across software deliverables, manufactured products, and other contract related services
- Provide direction and technical guidance to TDL staff regarding execution related matters
- Work closely with project controls and subcontractors supporting TDLs
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience establishing cost, schedules, and performance goals and plans to meet project objectives
- Experience directing and controlling activities for a government client and interfacing with senior management
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of 8 years of total relevant experience
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- PMP or equivalent certification or education
- Experience managing software development projects, using agile principles and methods
- Experience working with lifecycle management of DoD systems or programs
