Do you have experience leveraging Python and scripts to work with both structured and unstructured data to develop automated analytic solutions? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Data Analyst with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and customers to develop automated analytics solutions
- Handle customer inquiries; manage and fulfill ad-hoc data requests by applying existing data analytic techniques to new and emerging problems
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and assist in updating/managing various products
- Apply automated analytics solutions to structured and unstructured data to build efficiencies across workflows
- Evaluate outcomes and measure performance of automation models. Identify and implement opportunities and train and improve models
- Provide clear, non-technical explanations of complex analytics and data concepts to external customers
- Develop and document functional requirements in collaboration with customers and project teams
Required Education/Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data automation
- Strong proficiency in Python, working with structured and unstructured data with the ability to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex, technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
- Strong organizational and planning skills for tracking requests and project fulfillment
- Active DoD Secret-level security clearance
Preferred Experience:
- Active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer
- Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Proficient in SQL
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
