Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Fuel Farms, with extensive experience in both design and site execution for Fuel Farm infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working in electrical systems design and site management, particularly in fuel handling and storage facilities, or similar industrial sectors.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the electrical design, installation, and commissioning of the fuel farm electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, safety standards, and project timelines.

Highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Automatic Fire Fighting (AFF) systems with proven experience in medium and low voltage electrical systems, ICT infrastructure, and low current systems. The ideal candidate will lead design, implementation, and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Develop electrical designs for AFF systems, medium/low voltage distribution, ICT networks, and low current systems (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, BMS).
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure designs comply with NFPA, IEC, IEEE, and local authority standards.
  • Lead electrical engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and ICT teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
  • Review contractor/shop drawings and supervise installation works.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of AFF, ICT, and low current systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system failures.
  • Ensure system reliability and safety through preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety codes and fire protection standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for approvals and inspections.
  • Introduce energy-efficient solutions and smart technologies in electrical systems.
  • Optimize system performance through advanced monitoring and automation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in AFF, ICT, and low current systems.
  • Medium & low voltage distribution systems.
  • AFF systems (sprinklers, pumps, detection, suppression).
  • ICT infrastructure (structured cabling, data centers).
  • Low current systems (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PA systems).
  • Certifications: PMP, NFPA, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
