Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Manager to join our team! In this role you will gather and analyze data on construction staging, plans, and project objectives on a high- rise project.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plans, Manage, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.

  • Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution.

  • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the program, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

  • Promotes technical excellence on the program, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.

  • Mobilizes company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.

  • Works with individual project managers to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.

  • Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.

  • Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.

  • Works with individual project managers to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.

  • May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.

  • Oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and other documents for hazardous waste work.

  • Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience

  • Experience in site logistics management for high-rise projects including the planning of materials required for project delivery are scheduled and delivered in time for installation.

  • Ability to manage and work in a team, deliver objectives and targets.

  • Strong communication skills.
