Job Description:
Senior QA/QC Manager
Qatar
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior QA/QC Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar! In this role, you will lead quality management across multiple infrastructure project packages, ensuring consistent QA/QC systems, digital tools, and contractual compliance in line with client expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading QA/QC activities and attending program and package-level quality meetings.
- Planning, coordinating, and standardizing quality audits across all project packages.
- Managing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated schedules.
- Overseeing NCR processes, including issuance, follow-up, root cause analysis, trend analysis, and KPI monitoring.
- Reviewing quality audit reports, checklists, Lessons Learned, and assessment testing schemes.
- Coordinating quality-related activities and alignment of QA/QC processes between Contractor, Supervision Consultant, PMC, and PWA.
- Implementing and managing digital quality and document control platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, OpenSpace, APMS, DataGrid).
- Developing and monitoring quality and document control KPIs and preparing periodic quality performance reports for senior management and the Client.
- Drafting and reviewing quality-related contractual correspondence, notices, and technical letters.
- Developing and implementing program-level quality procedures, standardized inspection practices, and contractual deliverables tracking.
- Supporting quality-related commercial compliance activities within cost-plus contract environments.
- Conducting training and awareness sessions on quality systems, digital tools, and contractual compliance.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- BSc degree in Civil Engineering.
- 14 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC and 3 years in a project management company in a QA/QC role.
- Must be MME certified in Qatar.
- Extensive knowledge of QA/QC management practices, standards, and processes in large infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proven experience in leading audits, managing NCRs, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong experience preparing and presenting quality KPIs and reports to clients and senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong capabilities in contractual and technical correspondence.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple packages and teams.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency with QA/QC and document control tools and platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, OpenSpace, APMS, DataGrid, or similar).
- Experience implementing advanced or AI-enabled digital solutions in QA/QC and document control.
- Experience in cost-plus contract environments and quality-related commercial assessments.
- Strong analytical skills in data-driven performance monitoring and trend analysis.
- Experience in delivering technical training and workshops on quality and digital systems.
