ResilienX is the leading system integrator for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone ecosystems. You’ll help us build out our systems and solutions that make these ecosystems possible. With the latest FAA regulations recently released for BVLOS operations, the drone industry is about to take off. We are looking for a Platform Engineer with strong cloud and DevOps expertise to strengthen our platform infrastructure. You’ll work with Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS to deploy, monitor, and scale services that support advanced air mobility operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our DevOps and Platform pipelines using Kubernetes, Helm and AWS.
- Make our product platform more robust by enhancing our deployment strategies and platform observability
- Improve our engineering team experience with improved tooling and workflows
- Identify and mitigate platform security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering team to identify areas of improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional DevOps and/or Platform engineering experience.
- Strong skills with Jenkins,
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Agile development experience.
- Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Python.

Location
Syracuse, NY strongly preferred, but willing to consider remote candidates. By the time this person starts, we’ll likely be moving into the new INSPYRE Innovation Hub (https://inspyrehub.com/), and our sweet new office!
Compensation & Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance is 100% covered by the company, as well as Long-term disability, shor-term disability, and $100,000 life insurance policy
- Company paid parking at a downtown parking garage right across from the office
- 401k program is available, but there is no company match at this time.
- Stock options will be a part of any compensation plan. When the company does well, so do the employees!
- Salary Range is between $85,000 - $150,000: We’re open to hiring a seasoned pro, an up-and-coming powerhouse, or someone who’s secretly both.
