Under the direction of the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the Cancer Center, the Quality and Patient Safety Analyst works with stakeholders and leadership teams to gather and use data to help develop quality initiatives, monitor compliance with industry standards, and enhance patient safety for the Upstate Cancer Center.
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience with quality and/or patient safety OR Associate's degree and four years relevant experience with quality and/or patient safety required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills required.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on quality initiatives. Experience working with Quality Improvement and/or Patient Safety metrics. Experience with clinical databases.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
Monday- Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm May require work outside of normal business hours.
