The Clinical Educator will be involved in the development, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of educational activities through the centralized Clinical Nursing Education Team and by supporting designated Nursing Units. They will function as an overall educational resource/contact. The Clinical Educator is responsible for the coordination of clinical education activities, curriculum development, and design that focuses on the development of the expertise of patient care staff. The Clinical Educator will coordinate and evaluate hospital-wide and unit-specific educational activities and programs in collaboration with nursing leadership and clinical experts (i.e., unit managers/directors, clinical leaders, clinical training specialists, and senior nursing management).
NYS Licensed/Registered (or eligible) RN required. Master's degree in Nursing and four (4) years of satisfactory clinical experience providing direct patient care required. CPR-BLS is required by the time of appointment. Formal or informal teaching experience (including clinical teaching consultation and practice).
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm with flexible hours dependent on unit need
