Demonstrates comprehensive assessment skills. Establishes priorities of care and utilizes medical and surgical knowledge base to guide practice. Documents plans and expected outcomes individualized for patient need.
Generate a comprehensive treatment plan.
Participate in departments quality committee.
Responsibility for faculty maintenance and oversight of MedHub; track all aspects of resident training including evaluations, rotations, schedules, educational reference and necessary documentation for Federal GME reimbursement.
Actively participate in resident recruitment.
Liaison for the GPR program with hospital clinics and services that are involved with GPR training and the VAMC of Syracuse.
Take call and work into the hospital-based aspects of the service including treatment of special needs patients in the OR under general anesthesia.
Minimum Qualifications:DDS or DMD with post graduate residency.
Outpatient dental clinic experience preferred. EMR (Epic) experience preferred.
Direct hands-on patient care with the ability to create a dental plan of care for patients.
Supervision of residents; oversight of dental hygienists and assistants' delivery of care.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday until 5:00 pm
Salary Range/Pay Rate:DOQ
